First off, hi. Second, I have a set of h1 radial 12 bolt double beadlock wheels that I picked up, but I'm not sure if I can get away with running a bias ply tire with them. I know this is a no-no when it comes to running on the street, but what about with a double beadlock using pvc inserts? Are the bead tapers that much of a difference between the two when double locked? My tires are new and don't want to part with them. Would rather switch rims. Thanks in advance for any input. :smokin:

Not sure I'm following...

Your saying you cant run a h1 wheel with a bias tire on the street?
I do that pretty much everyday on the hiway. Granted its a military vehicle, but...

Bias Tires work on the 12 bolt wheels yes. The only real dif as far as the tires going on the wheel is the inserts. In stock form the 8 bolts had a mag. runflat and a bias ply 36" tire.

Where the 12 bolts had a rubber runflat and a 37" radial. You can run the 36" bias on the 12 bolts and you can run the 37" radials on the 8 bolts. It's the insert that was designed for one tire or the other. However they both work with either or.
