Good eye.... you are correct. I read on Campbell Racing Facebook that front wheel drive was lost around Rm95 and Shannon had to relearn how to drive under rwd. That final clip was at the last pit, around RM230-250.

It just looked real slow for a 4WD so I watched it again to see if he was broken or just pussyfooting it for some reason. Then I noticed it was pushing but didn't seem to be pulling. Bummer for him!

I have not had the best of luck with a solid 4wd drivetrain in a desert car. Not apples to apples, I'm heavier, less power, less suspension and shorter wheelbase, but getting it across the desert in 4wd is the same.

From what everyone was saying he hit a boulder with the front crossmember of the car, flattening a 2" tube and somehow disabling the front diff?
