Ok, I'm sticking a Waggy Dana 44 under the front of the YJ. SUA

Need to fill the stock hole in the cast side by the pumpkin with metal and redrill it 1/2" inboard. Other side is simple - cut off the ols and MIG on the new - BTDT a shitload of times.

Ran a search. If I were welding new perches to cast, I'd be a fawken expert with what I found.

Have a 180A MIG. Have a 200A stick welder. No gas.

Ideas?

When I did mine I used a stick welder with rod for mild steel. Not sure about the number. I wouldn't worry about it. You're just filling a hole. :flipoff2:
