i am running my propane tank slightly nose down. is it going to be an issue with the "pick-up" line inside the tank if it isnt real close to horizontal or vertical?

My tanks sit at an angle, but the top is up. If I don't have the tank sitting the right direction then I will not get all the propane from the tank. The way to tell where your pick up is, there is a hole in the top ring of the tank, that is the side of the tank where your pick up sits.

What about mounting your tanks vertical behind your seats? until you put a 3rd seat in there it might be a good location as long as that pressure valve doesnt open on you

You could run a tank standing on it head for a little while:shaking:. You just won't get all the fuel out of it. If it real cold out, it will frost over the tank, because the fluid to vapor transfer is happing in the tank. But it will problebly start running like shit before that happens.
