Oxjockey 10-16-2002, 10:20 AM I don't mind mine, but if it were easier to swap out, I probably would. My biggest issue, right now, is that they're fairly unlockable, unlike ball hitches. They all have different ratings, so don't assume your hook is good for 12k lb. or whatever. Also, don't buy a hook without a rating on it. Bryan Brutpwr 10-16-2002, 05:17 PM The pintles besides the noise can be a bit more squirly if the trailer is not loaded properly (trailer sway because of inadequate tongue weight is maginified by the looseness of the trailer conection. But they sure are nice when off-road when pulling your trailer where it really should not be in the first place.
