Great Pics! Looks like Briggs was in good shape.

I was up Goler last month and finally got around to seeing Barker postfire.

Surprised to hear anyone was camping there.

They got a car up there and were in tents....

I herd there was a burried container at Barker Ranch that Manson hid live people in. Do you know where that container is located? I walked around a little but saw nothing.

Panamint Valley. One valley west from Death Valley. Enter from the south via Ridgecrest/Trona. From the North at Olancha or Lone Pine.

You should really join us in November for the Panamint Valley Days event with Cal 4 Wheel. A great way to start getting acquainted with the area. You could spend months or years exploring the area.

There are only a couple of difficult 4-wheeling runs but the exploring is first class.

There are some old mines that the Manson clan stocked with supplies for the coming "Race War". The entrances were covered with boulders and are really well hidden. They are not in the immediate vicinity of the ranch though.

That place looks like a lot of fun to explore. Wish i was closer, I could spend a couple days just walking around the area.
