Looking at purchasing a 2000 Nissan Frontier. I am wondering what options are out there for t-case gear reductions, or are there other cases that are an easy swap?

Calmini and 4x4parts have 4:1 t-case gears for the TX-10 transfer case, and NWF used to sell doubler kits that use the TX-10 reduction box and a dana 300/atlas/stak. Or, advance adapters has a adapter to go to a atlas.

Some of the frontier guys may chime in, but I believe if you are breaking into the t-case, its worth it to upgrade to a v6 t-case out of a hardbody/pathfinder. I believe that the frontier has a narrower chain in the transfer case that is prone to stretching, and thats why they do this upgrade.

Also, check out roninwheelers.com, there are a lot of nissan guys on there from colorado, some of the more extreme nissan builds are on that site.
