i am wheeling it this weekend, with the stock tires. i just don't have enough time to get the wheels done. i think i will just run dual in the f&r for that ultra wide look. i have to pull the duals off to get it to fit on the trailer.

Let us know how ya like em. It looks weird with those wheels, almost like a photo chop!! Seems like ya did it quick, did you flip the hubs and remove the drums? what did you do suspension wise? brakes and what not?

the hubs are stock out in front, in on the rear. i removed the drums fom the front and the rear, i have one disk in the rear. i just don't have enough time to do the other in the front. i will do that next week or so. it stops plenty good, i will just like alittle more insurance. i am running the stock springs, and i have to build a traction bar for the rear. i will do that tonight. i had to lower the front bump stops to keep it out of the oil pan. i need to beef the springs up some more but that wont happen till after the weekend. and get some bump stops in the rear to keep it out of the tank. mike

welcome to the club gunracer, you're gonna love not breakin shit...

detroit in the front, and it ratchects like a champ, i use 2wd low range most of the time so the steering is easy. but i am going to add ram assisit, for the swampers. welded rear.
danial, i don't know who's ass i need to kick on that pix. hayrakers for making it or your for the rebrodcast
i just got the drive shaft hooked up and the longer shackles in the front. so i still have the shock mounts and the rear bump stops to do tonight. and the torque bar.
and danial the steering arm looks so getto fab, i am embarrased to take a pix of it. but i am pretty sure it will work like a champ. if it brakes off, i will make a better one.

Not going to be breaking anymore birfs up there in clayton in the middle of the night are ya now. Or do you still go there? I met you up there about a year ago. Some of your friends slept under my truck while I changed a birfield. I have been a few times since and never see you anymore. Did you start going to Freilings place or what?

I am starting my own rockwell project so it will be awhile before I go back out. That thing looks good man, hope to see you up there one of these days, your group is a riot.

the 42s are fine TTURokToy, but i might trade them off for some 16.5 rim size. i just want to know which bunch of drunks decided to follow me. that was one long ass night. and i drive all the way back from wildwood to find high 5, and there him and shit neck were sleeping like babys under your toy. i still cant belive how many rigs kept showing up. we started with about 7 and by the time i got to snake pit, it looked like a highway behind me. mike

Yep that was a long night, and maybe the only time my wife has ever been really pissed off at me, her first camping trip and I left her in camp till about 3:30am.

Mike, I dig the cruiser, kind of has that psychobilly redneck farm equipment look that I like so well:flipoff2:

BTW, I did not chop that picture, thats the way gunracer drives it around when hangin with his homies.

Gears are set up in both ends, driveshafts hooked up, just need to bleed brakes, relocate forward mount on front springs, fill the diffs with gear oil, finish the steering and put the hood back on. skeetshooter is building my hi steer arm so I think we may have it whooped.
