I already posted this in the regional forums, but thought I'd post up here too. Just seein if anyone's plannin to be there for the race weekend. I'll be there in the Ranger.

Yep. Park is open all day. Race started ~1.5hrs after park closed last time. Just enough time to cook up some supper and kick back a few before the race.

do you think there will still be some camp sites available.

Oh yeah, there will be plenty. Its not that big of an event yet. Call ahead if you want to make sure.

Hey ohiozj what part of the gorge do you wheel at? I have been trying to get time to go down their for the last 3 years.

i always take mt parkway to slade. if we are camping its usually along the creek if you go in off of 1639. which is right off 11 (the road your turn left on right off the highway)

but that weekend there is a ride on charles booths property. we will be leaving from the firehouse on 11 down past the nat. bridge state park. i think its the zoe firehouse. your more than welcome to come if you can.
