Not sure, I think closed knuckle 44 front and a 60 rear. Google M880 to find out.

Actually, I think they are open knuckle 44 fronts with low pinion. 60 rear.

yeah the 1-1/4 ton is a military designation more than anything. D44F up front not the D60F you'd expect.

d44 with 30 spline inner, and 35 spline outer thru a unit bearing with open flat top knuckles. and if you need parts for it, ventures truck parts in utah has alot of used stuff for that axle.

Dude, did you even google this shit? I just told you what to search. Where do you think I found out what I told you from? You would have all your questions answered and then some already.

All M880 series 4WD trucks are D60 rear and full time 4WD front D44 with no hubs, 4.10 gears and a NP203 transfer case. They are basically identical to a '75-'79 civilian Dodge W200 with the exception of the paint, B.O. lamps on some and the few that got a seperate 28V electrical system to run military radios.

And Abrams nailed it. This info is so easy to stumble on a fucking 2 year old could have done it.

Some had 3.55 gears. I have a pair in my garage

Show me proof of that. I have the TM 9-2320-266-34 dated January 1976 and last updated in April of '86 that lists all the M880 variants and their original equipment. Page 1-4 lists 4.10 gears for all models. I've heard of all sorts of M880 trucks having all kinds of things like D60 front axle and even 5 lug 1/2 ton versions but the simple fact is that they never existed. It's possible the military owned and used many Dodge civilian trucks with a variety of options but all the factory literature and all the military literature lists M880 trucks as all being spec'd out the same way for the specific model. Anything goes for trucks other and a M880 series with an original data plate but I have yet to see verifiable proof of any being built any other way.

we had a mid 70's PW 150 as a junker farm truck a few years back but it was a civilian model im pretty sure it was servicable bearings and original equipment hubs. didnt pay much attention to it cause i knew it wasnt a 60... i just junked out a 81 and i know it had what i assumed were serviceable bearings and the old selectro hubs...so no i dont guess ive paid enough attention to them! learn somthing everyday

not from factory, it didn't have serviceable hubs, came out in 80.

(Can't get my photobucket account to open......)

Believe me I wish I had 4.10's in them. they are painted with CARC od green paint, they have a service plate on top pf the pumpkin, and I counted R&P teeth and it came out to 3.55.............................................. ...............................................

I checked my front 44 and you were right elenwil, I was wrong. Its a 4.09 up front. I just gotta dig out the 60 and recheck the r&p again. I don't know what I was counting
