Has anyone used this Arctic Freeze freon? Is it really better than plain old R134A?

I do believe that stuff is just R-134a with a bunch of other crap added to it that'll just gum up the whole inside of your A/C system (stuff claimed to be leak sealers and conditioners).

If you have a leak, you need to fix it (oily residue on the hoses & fittings will usually indicate a leak)
However if the system is simply 15+ years old and has never once been serviced or topped off (still blows pretty cool, but not real cold), some plain 134a plus an appropriate amount of compressor oil should do the trick (small 2+2 cans (R134a + oil) are available for getting the oil into the system). You'll need to check if your compressor uses PAG oil (and what type) or ester oil (i've heard they are compatible with each other, but no sense mixing them if you don't have to).
