Well, it needs a new spark plug, oil change and coolant change.

OK, what type of spark plug, and what gap? Should I get it from anywhere, or like a Kawwy dealership?

What oil should I use, and how exactly do I change it??

Coolant, same question as the oil, what type and how do I change it??

Yes, I'm a noobie quad owner! :flipoff2:

I just bought it this weekend (first quad!), and beat the piss outta it at Wellsville over the weekend :D

Thanks for any help!

Kinda but not really in the same boat as you. I have lots of bike and quad mantainence expirence but just bought a new to me quad a couple of weeks ago. Besides a new starter solenoid my first purchase was a shop manual. Becuase the quad I bought hasnt changed since it came out (yamaha warrior) I bought a haynes manual and it is good. For alot of other bikes and quads that change alot thoughout the years I would recomend spending the extra money and buy the factory shop manual. Not sure on your quad which is the better book to get but aleast go buy one. It will answer all of your questions and more.

The Mojave's are vertiually IDENTICAL throughout the yrs.

Where can I get a Haynes manual for an ATV? The dealership, of like Trash Auto or Autozone?

1992 KAWASAKI KSF250 250cc Mojave

Spark Plug Part No. Stock No. Plug Gap .035
Standard DP8EA-9 5829
VX Platinum DP8EVX-9 2933 .035

this off ngk's website.

For oil in my 200x I like bel-ray EXL 20-50 /10-40 depending on temp. It's pretty good oil designed for bikes/quads but yet still fairly affordable. 2.99 a quart at rockymountain atv.
