im picking up a j20 tomorrow with out motor tranny tcase etc...im giddy as school boy..
i havent decide what to put in it yet here i what i have laying around

304 amc
727 trans
d300
ford 60 centered
i also can get a 360 th400 qtrac for cheap...
and leave the offset 60 in the back

i will be using as a tow rig and some light plowing
my trailer and jeep prolly weigh near 7k..
the axles have 3.54 gears
is there much difference in power between the 304 and 360.. or should i just build it because i have it??
since i wont be wheeling it would the dana 300 be better than the qtrac? opinions, thanks
