Me and a couple of the other guys from OCT are going to try and make it out to the hammers for memorial weekend. Does anyone else plan on heading out there that weekend?

I dont know anything about "hammer" can you fill me in? From looking at the rigs of the guys that are going, I probably wont or cant take my truck on the trails there:confused:, but Ill drag out a camper....and I can cook like a royal MF'er! Plus I have to get my truck out and about, see how its running and driving....work out the bugs so to speak!

If your truck can haul out a bunch of food and a bbq it should be perfect for the hammers.

Thanks Rod that is very nice of you. But I got 60's that 3rd wont fit. I am able to fix it just not gong to happen by 5/30.

I would like to get my shit out there that weekend to test it out. I am sure you guys will be hitting harder trails than I am ready for, I have not wheeled my truck much, only been on claw once and need a ton of spotting. It would be cool to hook up with some fellow wheelers from pirate though.

Hey Saphteemon I will be out at Cougar Buttes Sat. morning. The guys from Extreme wheelers for Christ (EW4C) are doing a small get together out there that weekend. There are a few buggies going including mine and my brothers. I will try not to kill a sidewall at the start of the trail, and have to borrow a spare again. I upgraded my tires from the 35"BFG Muds to 37"Crawlers.

We will be gathering up the road past the bathrooms on the right if you want to run Cakewalk with us. I believe there is another trail that is a bit harder we might run as well. Mark

I *might* tag along with bigron for the day on saturday. But ill probably just stay home with my new little Man. :D:D:D

SOS is definitely a gnarly trail. i thought i was still on turkey claw when i decided i didn't want to break my first night there. we turned around in a nice tight spot and headed back down. i'll have to put a winch on my junk before attempting that one.:eek: i couldn't believe how far andrew and eddie got up it though.:smokin:

oh, fun was had by all, i assure you. it was the worst weekend for carnage that i've experienced there. when i got back to the bottom of sos at midnight friday, i was proud of andrew and eddie when i heard the rpm's and saw the headlights. they had more balls than i did.:smokin:
