I have had my 2x2 hooked up and tested it this past weekend (ran it for 15 minutes). Welp, finished my water table hooked everything back up and I lost movement out of the 3rd port. The motor had power, but wouldnt budge. I plugged it into the 2nd port and the motor moved just fine. So I know it is not the motors. Something is going on with my control box. Anything I can test or do?

Did you turn off the control box before plugging the motors back in? Which axis is it, the x with two motors or the y with one? It is most likely either a loose connector or a blown drive.

A plug that is not fully seated either to the motor or drive box can cause that to happen, so try disconnecting and plug back in. You can also try reseating the motor drive card inside the box by pulling it out and inserting it back in.

also check your motor driver in the settings. One of my motors stopped working becuase somehow (still not sure how/why) the 2nd x-axis motor was changed from Port 4 to Port 3 in the settings.

I don't know how this happened, but maybe it got confused from switching between plasma/routing..but i know i never changed this manually. Ended up just changing the settings a little bit anyway so that when i want to use the Z-axis/router, it just utilized Port 4 so that i never have to swap plugs around.

Electrical gremlin... fired it back up tonight... no issues!?!? Thanks for the input guys. If this happens again, I will check the above suggestions.
