What are you guys running for rear springs?I am looking for something long with a offset pin.I was thinking of using Ford F-150 rears.(86-96)Any other rigs have nice soft long springs with good offset.Blazin no more:D

the stock XJ springs are around 52 with a 2.5 or 3 " offset. I'm not sure if you would consider them long but they flexed well on a stocker. Also check the Chevy springs. Either the 52 or the 56" versions are offset(i know somebody will correct me and giove the right answer)

The 52" chevys are not offset and I don't think the 56" ones are either. The plan now is 2.5" wide 86-96 F-150 rears with the short side to the rear.Unless I find something else better.Any others?Blazin:D

yall are idiots

just got some 54" (unsprung measurement) with 6" ofset Cheb springs... 30$ Pair @ PNP 1/2 off weekend :p

my stock xj springs had (about) 4" ofset (short front / long rear)

The 54" cheb springs move the axle back 2" and i ran extended shackles, to compensate for 4" more in actual spring lenth...

CAME OUT KILLER! Very flexy nice droop...

Gunna be swaping a leaf spung unit up front soon with 4" yj lifted springs reverse shackle ;)

leaves what are you talking about? coils are the way to go. I can ramp 840 on a 30 degree ramp. , but if you really want off set springs i d use get some f150 springs and 1/4 liptic it. my buddy did and he set his wheel base to what he wanted.

No I didn't answer my own ?.My ? was what springs is eveyone using? Not what are the measurements of the fords.I didn't even think about the 56" chevys. Not a bad spring but I know the fords are softer. The Dakotas sound pretty good but that is really pushing it when you put the shackle on the short side. The pinion starts really pointing down on droop and causes U-joint bind and :nuke: Well think I will go with the Fords. Thanks Blazin:D
