If you have to ask how much they are you prolly cant afford them. but expect prices to be in the mid $300s

Thanks Jaffer. I will believe it early next year when I see it. I wonder if it is going to be a speciality tire like the TA's for offroad racing or is it going to be massed produced for the public. I would think if its a speciality tire we might get some tread compund that would have a lower durometer reading if they don't worry about mileage.

I would think they would be pricing and producing em to compete with the MTRs since that seems to be the main competitor, i know thats what i'm goin with if the Krawlers dont come out with a 35x12.5x15 in the next few months.

You think they would playball with the KMs while we wait for the krawlers. I just bought my spare on wednesday. I have four 37-12.5-17" BFG KMs and a brand new G.Y. MTR spare. The MTR was 185.00 and the KMs were 250.00!

I asked Jeff about a 35" Krawler a few months ago, he said the current plans were for a 35x13.5x15.

Also, FWIW, at the Supercrawl, I talked to him a bit about availability. They have about a 3 month down time in production while they move everything used to produce the Krawlers from the test plant to a production plant. They were going to start moving right after the Supercrawl, so he said plan on public availability sometime the first of next year.

Holy crap! That's a lot of downtime. I've been involved in moving equipment from facility to facility for a long time & we've NEVER experienced that kind of downtime. Now, if they're saying 3 months from teardown to full production capacity, that sounds more like it. But, 3 months of downtime? Nah.

   $250!?!?!? WOW, I know its far from the same size in comparison, but my four 33x10.5s were $700; I had no idea the 37s were that much.

I can only imagine what the Krawlers will cost 35s and up. :shaking:

Otherwise, when its time to step up, MT/Rs will be my choice.

A little birdie told me they will be selling a limited supply of Krawlers at the Sema show in LV in the $300 price range. :p

Sounds like I'm gonna have to start selling some plasma to afford my new 35" Krawlers. I really hope they make a 35x12.5x15.

Ditto on the plasma and 35x12.5 Krawler size. Might have to give blood and some...*ahem* sperm?:D :D :D

That very well could be what he meant. He most likely gave it to me in idiot terms, seeing as I have zero experience with moving tire production facilities:D Bottom line, he said they'd be available to the public most likely January of 2003, however you want to interpret that.

I'd actually like that size. Put them on some 10" rims.
