Imperial Sand Dunes will be under constant attack from
anti-access groups for years to come. Part of their plan is to
get Bob Filner, a liberal democrat, elected to the
congressional district that has the Imperial Sand Dunes in it.
Filner's voting record is similar to Feinstein and Boxer's.
WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN.
Here's our only option: we need to get Maria Garcia
elected. Maria Garcia has promised to fight to keep the ISDRA open
if she wins the election in November.
WE NEED MARIA'S REPRESENTATION IN WASHINGTON. We cannot
afford to let this opportunity slip by.
If Maria Garcia wins the congressional seat whose area
contains the dunes, we will have a great advantage in keeping
the dunes open.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: This Saturday you can walk her
precinct to gather support for her.
After you walk the precinct, there is a free old-fashioned
Deep-Pit Barbecue. The precinct walk will stage at Swiss
Park at 9 AM
DONATIONS GLADLY ACCEPTED.
Bring the family.
Where: Swiss Park
2201 Main St.

Take I-5 southbound. Take the Main Street exit. Turn RIGHT
on Main Street (west). Make an immediate left turn across
Main Street directly into the park entrance.
When: Saturday, October 19th
Time: Noon to 5 PM

show support, ticket prices are:
