I recently purchased a torchmate 2 with a 5x10 plasma water table system. The person that built the machine (owner of the company) never finished or ran it. He left it in the buildings loft after selling the business. Recently the new business owners decided that they did not want mess it and sold it to me. Basically the machine is new but dusty... I connected the electronics and got the software to go (online) but when I go to jog the machine - the motors don't move. I know they are getting power. I'm not running any inputs for homing switches. The transmit and recieve lights are working when jogging. Anyone have any idea whats wrong?

I run a G540 under mach3 on my other machines which is what I'm used to but I would like to keep this system running with the torchmate hardware/software since I already have it. Any help would be greatly appreciated... :)

Just give the tech line a call tomorrow. They will help you get up and running. Even if you bought the machine used from someone else. Welcome to our extended family! It will be helpful if you tell the guys who you bought the machine from so that they can change it over in our computer system when you call.

It's probably the enable signal polarity in the Driver's software, located under the Motor Signals page. It can either be set to high or low, try reversing that and see what you get.
