I am having trouble swaping a dana 60 in to the front of my CJ. I welded on a full width kit from wagoneer (or wagoner), and I am trying to use springs off of a YJ (they are spring over springs, not stock). The problem is that my shackle hangers are CJ size, but my springs are YJ size. I ordered some YJ shackles, but they won't line up right, and I am having trouble with the extra space left by the CJ hanger. I tried spacer and washers but got no where. Does any one have any suggestions, or ways around these problems. Thank you for reading and any help you can offer.

Replace the shackle hangers :flipoff2:

Try MORE. I believe they sell the wider hanger you are needing or make your own out of the appropriate size tubing and gusset it.

Rubicon Express makes a really nice CJ Hanger to YJ Spring shackle. It works awesome. Sounds like you have some really nice springs.

The ones that I have are YJ, which are wider than CJ ones. That is part of my problem
