tell me I didn't see the ground clamp on the THREADS of the spindle. man that's dangerous. your ground clamp tends to weld itself to the work in a tiny spot, not good for threads, but it looks like you got lucky and the arc burned on the inside of the spindle and not on the threads. anyways, your welds don't look all that bad, I have seen much worse, you have a decent pattern going, just takes practice.

um yeah I agree but I was in the shop and I told my budie (matt) to get the welder ready and so that was his doing but the treads arefine. I thought not much of it till it was to late :emb4:

What's the deal with the USN gray? Did you get a ton of that crap cheap? Your front is the same color right? I mean, you'll blend into fog with that color.
