Whoa whoa whoa....actual tech, in the Nissan section? Not just bullshitting abot brushguards and atv winches?

Looks great man:smokin:

I have to ask, why SUA in the rear?

I did the SUA due to the lift with the 37's and lower center of gravity for the trails. The SOA would have gave me about 7 to 8 inches to much lift.
I said what the hell and did the SUA and i get rid of axle wrap.

Have you had it out yet with the SUA 63's? They look like they could be rock anchors. You could probably go SOA, run a shorter shackle, french the rear shackle hanger into the frame, and french the front hanger into the frame?

Are you linking it in the front?

Again, awesome project man,:grinpimp: it would be tough for me to SAS such a new rig.:homer:

I had it SOA with my factory leafs on a ford 9. Yes it is going to be linked radius style. Part will be here from ballistic tuesday to finish it.
This vehicle is driven on the road also, not a trailer queen. I can always remove the overload spring or even switch it to SOA l8r. I need to drive it first to find out how it rides. I'm driving it to knoxville, tn in july.

Ive had a SAS on it for about 2 years. I just decided to upgrade the axle and
suspension.

This was 2 years ago, when i drove it down to the smokey mountains.
It was a tad tall for my liking. Its on 38's in this pic.

Nice!
I actually like your truck better on the 37's and smaller.
It was pretty tall before.

Hows that rear swing away tire carrier working out?
The spare on the pathy drags on the ground at times and needs to be moved up and in.

It may have to be raised. Since i have the rear bumper extended to get to the roof. I will find out the first time i go wheeling.

Lookin good! Did u consider mountin ur shock to the lower leaf spring plate? Or triangulating the shocks? Ur not worried about those shocks not being a limiting factor?

I just tack welded the shocks there. The rear of the xterra was real mushy.
SO i just added the shocks to see how much it would change it. I need to flex it out to see my suspension travel.
