: wheel studs

i am having a problem getting wheel studs for my 14 bolt single wheel rear axle. i whet to all the auto parts stores and they only carry 2 or 3 and will not order any more until they run out. then they only order a box of 5.:rolleyes: is there somewhere on-line i can order 16 of them without fawking with parts stores? anyone have the part number for them?

I have been having the same problem, Ive been using AutoZone, and I buy them out every time they get them in, but the are like $3 bucks a stud:eek:

Your parts store will not order the amount you are willing to buy? Maybe try a Chevy dealer, they should keep them, and are normally about the same price as parts stores on little things like that.

Still might be better than dealing with the parts hacks.

Any respectable stealer should be able to get whatever quantity you want within a couple of days MAX.

Might sound silly but you could try www.napaonline.com
I've had good luck with ordering stuff from them and it usually gets to me NEXT DAY.

Definitely try NAPA, they will have them. Hell, my local Napa had 10 of them in stock when i did my disc swap in the rear and replaced a few of the FUBAR'd ones. I am absolutely floored as to why your parts store won't order the quantity you need. I can see if they are afraid the parts won't sell, but if you pay for them before they order, they should get the amount you need. Sounds like time to find a new parts source to me.
