Actually, I don't really deserve much credit - all I did was collate the info into one place.

If you have additions or corrections, let me know.

Should be of great use to anyone - fabricator, or bolt-on-champ.

Enjoy!

Looks good. I fliped through the heat treating section. Good stuff there. One thing though, Cryogenic tempering has been a topic here a few times. Did I miss this info. on the site? If I didn't, here is a little tech I found in a quick search.

Cryogenic Tempering (http://www.cryogenic.co.nz/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsp_content&page_id=24)

I am sure there is some more info on it but I am lazy. Once again Bill, you have some of the best tech pages I have seen on the net.

Nice info in one place.

Not to be picky but the equations in the strength of materials section are a little messed up. Not that it makes any difference since anyone that is going to use them has probably seen them many times before.

Thanks for sharing with the community.:)

Thanks for the links Pig and ranger - will work on that.
Will have to start a new section entitled "shiat onlt PIG, GOAT, and Farmer Gordon really understand!"

JR - fixed the colours a bit.....aesthetics are NOT my strong point.

Added some links too.

The XJ is still in action though - many pics of it on my Slippery Creek report linked from my home-page:)

nobody 20 - they came direct from engineersedge.com. Can you be a little more specific / constructive? I'm not being defensive - it's not my work. But help if you can.
