Yea I know, Toy axles rule here. Yea I know, D44's rule here. Yea, I know, DSI is putting in 60s!! Yea I know all of this. But this is my question.
If so many people are switching Tracker/Sidekick R&P's into Sammi axle housings, why not just swap the whole darn axle? This may be a really dumb question so I expect a LOT of flaming. Just answer the question. Why not?

They have IFS in the front, and coils in the back. So it's not a direct swap.

And when the rear axles snap, they snap at the splines which wipe out the sidegear, and egg where the carrier bearing sits .. my last one popped the carrier bearing inner retainer :p

Well, thats my experiance, I have 3 axles/carriers that it happened too. :D

It was inexpensive, easy to do and good for a year, all the parts were inexpensive so I didnt waste too much money, but now its time to move on as I have a garage again so I dont have to work in a apartment parking lot with a patroling Security Guard that thinks hes still in the marines shouting out his 15 general orders of the apartment complex at me.
