Sounds like you have found something else yr rig does well.
Locally here we do alot of that type of competition for something ta do because of the lack of open trails to go ride on that don't require long road trips. I have always wondered if ya fellas with them tube buggies ever took em out and abused em ever in any arenas other than rocks. Cool ta hear a few of you do anyways.

Ya ever want to try something that will really gey yr adrenalin pumping bring that thing up here and we will toss some spiked rubber on it and you can do some high speed ice racing...you haven't lived tell ya have took a 45 degree sweeper at 80mph on studs..makes for sum DAMN interesting afternoons. :)

pinball.

ya my rig seems to work pretty well in several diffrent kinds of terrain. it actually prerunns in the desert very well, kick's ass in the sand dunes and now i can add stadium racing to it's resume.
i have relitaves in WI and have always wanted to try that ice racing. if you are serious i just may take you up on your offer this winter and head back there for a week and do some winter wheeling and snow mobiling. what part of wisconsion are you in? my family owns a farm near tomahawk and a few uncles live in antioch.

I live near Wis Dells. And yeah I am serious....I own two sets of ice tires for the 4x4 rigs and I am going to be building a set for my Stang (I promised myself I wouldn't ice race it but...well I lied)

If we get any snow (never seem ta know anymore) we hold a snow ride in northern Wis every year that is usually a hoot. And of course your invited;-) When it comes to ice racing ya see a lil of everything around this state...sum folks run things that look alot like Tin Benders 01 machine derr and some run very sophisticated machines. I have seen a viper on studs on one ocassion even. I know at one time up near the Mississippi they were doing studed ice drags with some folks into the 12's with full bodies rigs.

My personal fav is the side by side races set up just like a autocross cept on ice. They have no stud classes, studded and car/4x4 you name it. Hell one event I raced my tow rig and had a blast in the non studded class. But hey ya get up this way and need a ride I will have my stang on studds and yr welcome ta give it a whirl...bring yr helmet :) It's an olddie (1985) but with a stroker 351, 9" with 4.10's, WC T-5, basically set up ta Autocross and 1/4 mile when in the mood, it is always fun. Should be a blast on 3" Spikes.

Will you beating up kids and taking their candy on halloween too? Ya big bully :D :flipoff2:

Cool though.

How'd you manage to shift the 4spd? That's what's kept me out

camo

started in second and kept it in second. if i had to shift i would have lost for sure. thats why i am going to an auto. :D funny thing is even if i had a trany that you could speed shift i would have still been stuck in second cause my slave cylinder was shot. it blew a seal.
