I have a 90 x cab mounted to a 84 runner frame. I bought the truck as a started projectand have a problem. The old owner cut the body mounts off the frame(under your feet) and he doesn't have them anymore. I know I can go get some from the salvage yards or possibly toyota, but, I want to tub the fire wall and what not for 39.5's.

I wsa wanting oppinions on building a mount like you would to tie a cage to the frame, ie; sheetmetel sandwiched between two plates. Then use spring bushings insted of normal cab bushings. That way I can move it back to tub and not have to try and make the factory stuff work.
