Crap that PISSED me off when I went back over the new upper trail and saw that some dumb Fawking Jerk A-hole crashed through one of our blockage areas...crap I was really pissed, did I say that already??...Sat at about 2pm it was all nice and blocked (this is about 150' from the tree that was cut down), Sunday on my way out I went that trail back and at 8am I saw it...not even 12hrs and some Dip Shit drove it down...I cleaned up what I could also...
All the trail users and there is always some Dumb Fawk that thinks it does not mean its for him/her.....
All of us this weekend worked our butts off on this cleanup and 1 idiot tries to ruin it.........    :mad:

I forgot to add that the new Shitter right below Walker Hill has 2 fawkin bullet holes in it already also......

that fawkin SUCKS!!!!!!!!! someone needs their ass kicked.

i havent run the trail before, but maybe signs on the blockages that say "This bypass has been legally blocked, traveling over, around, or attempting to destroy this blockage is strictly forbidden. Please stay on the trail" would help???

i'm not gonna go down a nice serene trail with 100 fawkin signs all over it. they already have signs everywhere that your not suppose to be drivin on. these guys are the wow lets be assholes and drive over some shit for no reason whatsoever kind of guys. we need to just linch the fawkers, make an example of someone. that'll open some eyes ;)

You got it right, Fullsize. I'm kicking myself for not thinking to grab my camera Saturday night - some dipshits cut dow a live tree and had a nice fire with it at Spider. We all had words, the fire went out, but I'd like to see them pay for that.

Speaking of the fires.... Can anyone confirm the rumor that a ranger was walking around Spider saying it was ok to have a fire?

How about deeply set (or otherwise difficult to remove) tire spikes scattered throughout the blocked off bypass? :D

that'd work great except for the guys with sx's:flipoff2:

it might not be cheap but why not weld up a unopenable gate? but still use the stuff that you all where using to block the bypass's but have the gate to reenforce the blockage?

First of all, I have to give you guys BIG props for the work done on that section. It looked great and very obvious that the area was trying to be protected. So whoever did this was of course against what everyone was up there for.

Now I left at 5PM on Saturday evening and it looked great. As I drove out, I saw several trucks coming up. One that I would question if it was them or not was this big ASSHOLE that drove me off the road as I was coming down Icehouse in my Suburban towing my trailer with Slinky on it. That's right, a beaten up burgundy colored Suburban with tinted windows, lifted on something like 35 or 36s, was hauling ass up the Icehouse, slid sideways through a corner into my lane and off into the ditch. Still at full speed, he then full throttled out of it sliding sideways in front of me just missing me. It wasn't just his driving that kept us from colliding. I had to drive my truck and trailered vehicle off into the ditch to try and avoid him as he crossed over the road. There is nothing like locking up 8 wheels and sliding off the road right across from a huge downhill.

Anyway, unfortunately I didn't see who did that damage and it is hard to understand why anyone would. I only saw one jerk that night as I left and I wouldn't be surprised if it was him seeing what I saw as I came dowhow careless he was driving up the paved road. If you know this guy, please give him a big double handed anal fisting for me.

Whoever did it, I hope they get theirs in return.

p.s. Great job trail clean up organizers and worker bees. That trail was definitely cleaned up a lot.

We'll keep fixing the trail, folks will learn, it is as simple as that. We need to keep a better eye out for violators, and bust them when we see them. A personal word goes a long way, but we need to be ready to escalate: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=61854

Sam, the little blue car that buzzed by with the crapper up top, and beeped Saturday AM? That was me -- I was late for my group's scheduled departure, no time to talk! :D on the double-fister! :p Glad to hear that the Sub and the Slink are OK.

I'm not sure which bypass was breached, but I had brought up the fact that we couldn't build real strong blockades in the area where the new trail meets the old trail and the forest service rep said that when they get the heavy equipment in there then they will move some heavy rocks into the way to help block access to those spots. The stuff that we moved in was just something to help keep people honest in the meantime. I guess it didn't work.:(

Nasvik,

One of the jeeps that were in that camp had "DSTYJP" as the Lic. plate.

If anyone knows this idiot they should kick his ass for cutting down the tree..

Better yet, turn him in to the Forest Service for cutting without a permit, or cutting out of an approved harvest zone. They have a process for this, and the fines are no small sum.

Part of me wants to find out who it is, then go drive up onto his lawn, walk around to his backyard and fell a tree in his backyard, then build an unapproved fire. That's what he did on our land -- our public land.

Our community needs to identify who it is, escalate to the authorities, and publicize the example. Clearly, he wasn't concerned about getting caught (how many folks were around?!?!) -- that indicates to me that he'll probably do it again next time he's camping. Dunno about the rest of you, but one of the reasons I like the Sierras is because of the trees....

Well put Randii.

By the way, I figured that was you in that little blue car. What happened to the Isuzu? PM or email me so we can catch up again. It has been a while. Slinky and the Burb are ok, but everyone in my truck had to change our underwear after that experience.
