Thats pretty cool.. i'd be really impressed if there were two of those ramps, parrallel to each other and facing the opposite directions and he had a front tire at the top of one and opposite side rear tire at the top of the other and the other two tires on the ground. :flipoff2:

this truk could do just that :flipoff2: the first two pictures it has passive suspension

in the latest pic (strangrover) it has full active suspension, i beleive he won the ramp, but another cruiser with hydraulic active suspension, was a close second

You have know idea what you are looking at. The rigs not gay. The ramp pic isnt gay.

Whats its got is hydraulic rams on top of coilovers. The rig sits low, very low and is totally height adjustable. The suspension is just like any other coilover rig except with 24in (or so) of independent forced wheel travel sitting on top of the coilovers.

This guy GETS IT big time and would have more one off custom shiat in his rig than anybody.

i dont think credit goes to the suspension setup, but more to the portals, rear axle and drive train, thats where the engeenering is at.

True - Throw a set of rams on top of any coilover rig and it will ramp like that. He actually said himself that the hydraulics were only good for show (meaning the ramp). Although they did work well in the driving sections cause he could run his rig so low and only lift the suspension height when he needed.

Yup the 9:1 plantary reduction and the portal (not really a portal more like a bent axle) steering rockwell hybrid rear was sweet.
