I bought my truck with a pinion brake setup produced by ballistic fab, which ballistic fab no longer has or could give me any info on where I could find replacement parts. I need to replace the rotor and pads for it. Does anyone know where I might be able to locate a supplier for the rotor and pads?

I remember a thread on the ttora forum back when Dr. Vic (of Ballistic) 1st started to offer them. I thought he had used a generic gm caliper at the time. I also remember the kit coming with some nice looking stainless steel, slotted, non-vented rotors. I wanted that kit badly, but was reading posts of guys who were having issues with theirs. Not to say they were unhappy with the kits, but that they needed lots of adjusting and there was little vibrations, squeals, etc. I wish Ballistic would come out with a revised kit because I need a good parking brake, & I believe they have the ability to produce a comprehensive, quality kit. Hope that helps you a little.

We cut those rotors in house from 3/16" SS, I still have the file I'm pretty sure...

What would it take to get one of those rotors from you? I called yesterday and spoke with someone over there that was zero HELP! :(

Thanks for the info on the pads and rebuild kit.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I will call and see what pricing will be on a reasonable amount of stainless to do this job as we do not stock it. If I haven't gotten back to you by Tuesday morning please send me an e-mail at Eng@ballisticfabrication.com
