This post is in regard to your weld on early Bronco 3-link kit. I have read the information on your website and read the entire build thread for Wayne Static’s Bronco, however I have a few questions that were not answered in these sources. If there are any additional build threads I have missed in which this kit is used I would love to see them!
First of all I am running a slightly more custom application that the typical Bronco in that I have swapped an 84 Ranger body onto the stock Bronco frame. Currently I am running a dana 60 out of an 87 f350. I cut all the stock suspension mounts off the frame, however I think your kit requires the same thing. If not will this be a problem?
Secondly, this model of dana 60 is the less desirable one, as it only has a 3 inch tube on the driver side. Will I still be able to use this axle housing with this weld on kit, or do the tabs require additional space?
Also, as it its I have pushed the axle forward 5 - 6 inches. If I use this kit will I still be able to keep the axle in the position I have now? I am running full hydro, so the steering box is not an issue.
These are only a few of the questions I have in mind, but if these few issues are not a problem I would be very interested in using this product!
If anyone else is interested in following this, here is a link to the product in question:
