nice shop.like your engine lathe-classic american iron.once ran a 12"swing cinci tray top- good lathe. if you want to level it properly i can loan my starret #199 master precision level to you for a day or 2. i have 2 of them-set them up each end of the lathe bed and then adjust the leveling screws to get the twist out of the bed . suprised that you came back to the bay area mike!

I lived in Alameda for four years and Jim's is great. My favorite breakfast there is biscuits with sausage patty's and eggs on top and smothered in gravy. :smokin:

nice looking work space, who had to carry the tires up the stairs? .... thats the one thing id not store above my waist just cuz they get heavy to move realy quick.

It's true, I saw it with my own eyes. Mike was a real nice guy and took the time to show me around. Kinda cool little bohemian part of the ghetto, not nearly as scary as some other parts of Oakland.

Nice to have a "real" 4wd shop in the east bay.
