Thanks all, ive got to confess ive never seen it done,or done any type of body work before.Welding the thin body metal proved to be a lurrning experience, but managed to finish it off with about a tea spoon of bondo.I think i have about 16 hours into it and it still needs a little more.

I have to ask, what's with the "JEEP" sticker?

ROCKTACO
10-21-2002, 09:11 PM
Its the 175. They claim its rated for 1/4 ,but i was blowing holes through 1/4 at level 7 or about 3/4 setting.:D It works great!

Sweet job man. Next time you're going to do a project like that, call me. I'll come over and give you a hand.

I'm moving the rear back in the Bronco and will be cutting a section from behind the rear wheel well and putting it in the front. I'll have to give you a call when I do.

Looks real good...

Looks good.

Seeing nice bobs almost makes me wish I'd have bobbed instead of going straight to flatbed. (I also wish that every time I need to haul a bed full of stuff!)

Oh, and I've got that same 175, it's a good welder (especially at it's price).
