how much are the 35" big o xt's? I don't want to go there :D and I can't find the price on line

any other recomendations? I have 285 bfg all ter KO's they are sweet but too small right now

you could just go with the 35" BFG all terrain. They are far superior to the Big-O tires.

Walmart has a copy of the old style big O bigfoot XT with the funky tread. They are $99 plus mounting and tax around here. Or you could order Kumho Venture mt's from tirerack.com for like $110 I think.

Well, since you have 16" rims, you're gonna need 315/75's. And BFG murders us on their "70" and "75" series 16" tires.

By that, I mean that if you were to compare a 35X12.50/15 BFG to a comparable tire, that other tire might be $15 cheaper. Now, move up to 315/75R16 & the BFG is probably $60 per tire more expensive vs. that other brand. You're already experiencing this somewhat with the 285/75 as BFG charges more for this size than they do for 35X12.50's for both 15 & 16.5" rims. Now, there's no doubt that BFG makes a good tire. But, an extra $60-70 per tire over everyone else? That's just giving us the shaft.

Big O's are probably cheaper, but I don't know much about them. You might want to look at Cooper Discoverer AT's. You can get them in 315/75 for a reasonable price & still be buying a premium brand tire.

The 35" XT's run about $169 each. A friend of mine is running them on his XJ and has had NO problems. We have seen some very sharp rocks @ 8psi and no sidewall damage at all. Plus if you blow out a Big O tire you get a free tire, no questions asked. There is NO prorate on these tires and they should last you at least 60k with regular rotations (on the street only). The tires are manufactured by Kelly Springfield/Goodyear in the same plant as the Kelly MSR and GY MT/R.

I plan on running 16.5's not my 16's. they are sold w/ the tires I am selling BTW anyone want these all terrains...measure 32.8 and are damn near brand new
