I realize that this is going to be a broad question with all of the variables changing the totals but here goes:

How long should it GENERALLY take to run the complete trail?

From Eagle Lakes to Committee?

From Committee to Meadow Lake?

Depending on flow, I am going to run in September and wonder if it is a long one day for the complete trail, or better to break it down to the "lower" and "upper" sections in two days. I would assume that it can be done in a single day with a smaller group since Sierra Trek does it in one day.

Providing your rigs are capable yes it's possible to run the trail in a day if you have no breakdowns. Unless you have no time though I would recommend against it. What's the point? Take your time and enjoy the sights. Explore some of the spurs. Check out the Carlisle Mine site.

Run the trail to the Committee crossing area and camp there. Plenty of really cool places on either side of the river. You can then run into Meadow and back. Easy day trip even with stopping at Winch Hill 3 to play a llttle. Then exit out Committee back to Cisco.

First time we ran Fordyce we started at Eagle lakes fairly late in the morning and we just tinkered our way down the trail. Next thing we knew we were at Meadow Lake. We went much slower on the way back out and stopped alot more to take in the sights.

It also depends on the size of your group. We normally have a smaller group 3 - 4 rigs and make good time. Wheeled with larger groups at a snails pace.
