The flame content in this thread has been very little, even for the Chevy forum, the most newbie tolerant forum on this board as far as I'm concerned. If an actual tech question had been posted, he probably would have gotten some good answers along with the requesit stupid newbie question flaming. There's a wealth of good tech threads on this board, too bad they're all mixed in with techless padfests like this one. And it's too bad more newbies don't lurk for a while and see how things are done before posting up.

hey cummins_kid. I admit the chevy forum has been harsh at times butthis is definately not one of em. He didnt just post a for sale ad, he posted one, got flamed, posted another one, got flamed again, and then went on talk back. I think weve been pretty kind. One thing I am still tryin to figure out is why I am payin 12 grand a year to go to a school I don't wanna be in, eat food i wouldn't feed a dog, pay a couple hundred bucks a semester for books I don't wanna read, live in a cell that is smaller than a stall for a horse, and go to listen to teachers who are just riding out their jobs till retirement. College!

I used to wonder that too. Once I graduted i realized I went to school for 2 reasons. The first is to make money faster so I can spend more money more often on parts for my truck. The second is to realize how much spending money on anything but my truck sucks ass(unless it gets me laid). So ride it out sucka :flipoff2:

That a pretty crummy deal dude. I pay about 8 - 10 grand for a year's worth of school. Plus, I don't live on campus so life is good. I go to Texas Tech and am studying Mechanical Engineering.

Where do you go to school and what is your major?

I am gonna ride it out, my last year and i am outta here. They just raised tuition hear last year, so what used to be a 9-10 grand bill went to twelve. Also, I am on campus for my last year since the apartments i was living in last year decided to raise rent an extra $150 a month, so there went that idea. Hard to pay rent while working at a Speedway! So, I am just puttin in the last of my time, and I am gettin outta here. Still debatin where to go once I do get done though...

My Major is Automotive & Heavy Equip Management.
