These are 406-416 axles The X marks on the portal boxes are one indication, the other is the CV axle shafts, but you will have to take a portal apart to determine which one you have exactly. The first gen 406 stuff had helical cut gears in the portal like a 404 and then the later ones went to straight cut gears. Then there is the upper portal bearing that will tell you something as well. if the bearing is attached to the shaft rather than just sitting in the portal that will confirm it is a 406-416and not a 419 series axle which I am 99% sure its not. Judging by your pics you have a axle that is in very good shape. You will maybe only need seals for now. I would give Scott at Expedition Imports a call. He will have or get any and everything you need for those.

Cheers mate I hav been in contact with Scott but have lost communication via emails I'm not to worried about the seals as these aren't too expensive but it's the locking collar and associated parts that didn't come with one of the axles as far as I can tell the spring goes on the outside of the locking collar, really want to make sure I get the right part as these are expensive especially when they have to be shipped to Australia
