Got pics? I am debating it but I am not sure I wanna go hog wild with the cutting.. (those round fenders have character..)

Why don't you just extend the rear then? Seems like there are more 5's out there with flattied fenders then round fenders anymore. KEEP THE FENDERS!

I am running my 5 at 90". The fenders need to be cut to make room for tire and they just tear at the support in the middle of the fender anyway. At least they did for on my jeep. http://www.respite.org/images/cj66dean/myjeep3.jpg

are those front wrangler flares?

Not bad..

it is glass is one of the reasons I don't want to cut..

How far back did you move the rear, may just move the front like an inch and do the rear like yours..

TJ and about 5" each end. It realy helped it keep the tires down so not as much wheel in the air action anymore.

I use Dakota springs front and rear. Any year seem's to have the same offset but the newer ones are 5 leaf not 3 with an overload. The 5 leaf ones are on the front and havent been touched but the rear ones I went through 3 sets before ordering a set from JC Whitney and they are the sh!t.

Sawzall Sawzall Sawzall

Cut the thing in half and weld about 200# of metal in the middle. Works wonders.

it's glass so welding would be tough

no top then, suppose I could stretch it to a 6 length though..

Forgive Robbie (TornadoTJ), he thinks a TJ with 33's is "da bomb"! Someday he will see the darkness.
