The Jeep came with them on there and I didnt know how I would like the 37s on 60s. So far they have been pretty damn good tires but when they come back in stock the Jeep is getting 42s.

I have monday off but I will be canoeing down sugar creek instead of wheeling. but hopefully within the next couple weeks will be hitting up the bad lands.

so i guess we are leaving mattoon between 7:30 and 8:00 that puts us there between 10:00 and 11:00 local time.... good thing they are open till 8:00 p.m. LOL

So it turns out that redbird will not let you enter the park with Illinois ORV stickers:mad3: I specifically remember last year we got ORV stickers to go there

The Indiana DNR website says that vehicles must be registered in the state you live in... Redbird's site says no out of state registrations will be accepted....

that would be alright, except they do not sell ORV stickers, the DMV does....
DMV's are not open on Mondays or holidays:shaking:

the Club in charge of redbird needs to get their act together


so we drove the 100 miles there and turned around and came home....

what really sucks is spending all that money to wheel then not getting to over bullshit:mad3:

the list is filling fast!!! 20' recommended Interlake ORP and our club is ready to go back to land between the lakes!

i was thinking the next trip would be a weekend at badlands but that was gonna be over labor day... funds are a factor, as well as time (which we may be getting more of)

we will have to see.... i would like it to not be a slop fest... i would have to drag Chris's jeep everywhere... his H1 tires were hatin life yesterday in the creek bottom


on a side note he lost his rear drive shaft and broke a stub shaft in my uncles back yard...

I can show you around Interlake and it wont be as bad as Redbird but there is some mud here as well. The difference with our mudholes here is you can idle through them and not spin your tires. I was BURIED at Redbird! I havent been in mud like that for 10 years.

i wheel with a bunch of guys in our jeep club and we like to camp as well and they are more into the trail riding....

yeah interlake is def on the list now... dozer said he has been there before...

also cliffs.... i need to jew dave out of a bunch of stuff.... right now the lack of duckets is a hindrance:laughing:
