: What auto shifter to get?

Well I have a 350 TBI with a TH400 Tranny going in my CJ7 and I need to know what shifter to put in. I want a rachet style and I've heard stay away from the quicksilve(B&M) what do you guys think and what do you know.
I need to make a choice soon so help me out.

I ran a Hurst Pro-matic 2 with my TH350 in my Jeep for years. Worked great and never had a problem with it.

I still use the same shifter with the 700R4, I just modified the 3 spd version that I had from the TH350 to work on the 4 spd 700. gotta love mig welders!

Do a search this shifter issue has been beat to death in Jeep and General 4x4.

OOOOOOOOHHHHHH, whatever you do, get the NEON shifter ball!!!! You can get the "Afterburner" muffler to match too :eek:

Stay away from the Quicksilver. It will frustrate the hell out of you!!!

I would recommend the Art Carr or the B&M Street Bandit. The Bandit is replcing the Quicksilver in my CJ as we speak:

thanks for the help I have heard nothing but bad from Quicksilver so I'll be staying away from that.
