I would post in the wanted section, but I doubt I would get any traffic there.
I have talked with several of the vendors on the board allready. Some don't have the wheels, Some are currently looking around for me, and some just plain want to much money for them.
I figured I would post here to get access to all more options/sources.
I need disk brake wheels for my U-1300 axles. If I ca not get them down to a reasonable price, I will have to go with 404 wheels. I know the 404 wheels are not a direct bolt on, but I can handle the machining. The 404 wheels are a last resort though as they are spaced out wider than I would like.
Thanks,
Sean

Hey there Station....
Disk brake wheels are out there but I don't think that they are cheap.
Here are some links for you in your quest in finding some.
http://www.rockymountainmoggers.com/links.html has every link you'd need.
A couple people on there that i'd try to get ahold of are. (not in any order)
1. Kelvin Kurkowskis at Uniquip Ag Unimog Sales in Grant, Nebraska USA 308-352-4676
2. Jim Ince at http://www.eurotech-services.com/index.html
3. Sean Philyaw at http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/index.htm
4. Scott Ingam at http://www.expedition-imports.com/
Good luck on your search.
The links above that I listed all have phone numbers included and is usually the best way to get ahold of them.

Thanks for the effort Ken, but I have pretty much exhausted those options. I have actually called on the phone, all but one of the people/businesses that you listed.
Everyone wanted an arm and a leg for used wheels.
I know they are just expensive, and that is all that there is to it.
I think I have a better option now though, as Daniel may be setting me up with some SWEET wheels.
One Mog guy that I reccommend calling is Bob Tall at Unimogs East. He was a nice guy, and was like a living dictionary of all things Unimog. He has some Rail-Rider wheels that I was interested in to make my axles narrower, but they were just too expensive.

I know it is kind of late, but did you happen to try giving Chris Elliot a call?

Can you have a wheel maker make these wheels for you? I don't know what's special about them but I would assume that they could be made, maybe cheaper than used ones?

Daniel from USA 6x6 is going to be making me some custom re-centered wheels. The wheels are basically like 20"x10" hummer wheels. They are a 2 peice wheel(tubeless), with a rubber ring, which locks both inner and outer beads onto the rim.
He is giving me a good deal on them, better than used Mercedes wheels, so I am going with him.
They are going to be awesome with the 16.00R20 XL's.
If you are looking for an awesome double beadlocked alternative to your stock Mog wheels, check with Daniel. ALthough I understand that he has a limited number of these wheels, so he may only be able to make a couple of sets right now.
Thanks for the help anyway.
