ok..heres my situation...im building up my ranger and it was kinda brought to my attention that boggers arnt very good on rocks.... the ranger will see alot of mud and rocks everyonce and a while....i want to run the boggers for the mud...but if theyre going to be a waste on the rocks then its a waste of money. what tire would be the best for what im going to be doing? should i stay with the bogger and sipe them or go with something else? im really askin the "experts" here since you guys have run damn near everytire on both mud and rocks....any and all input to help me is appreciated...thanks!!!

Boggers suck on the rocks in SD so I would go with the SX's.

Boggers suck on rocks really bad, I had the 37' and they were a joke, go TSL.

regular TSL's....about as good of an all around tire as it gets.

Boggers climb sharp rocks like Johnson Valley really well, but have a tendency to slide sideways. Go with TSL SX- tough tire for rocks and mud.

TSL's have my vote (for all conditions)

What kind of mud? Deep stuff, or just the slime you find on rocks? 'Cause it's been my experience that unless you have the power to turn them (and if you're building a "trail" rig, you DON'T have that kinda power), Boggers hurt you more than they help in deep, sticky, Midwestern mud. Now, on greasy surfaces where you don't have to dig down too far for traction, Boggers are great. Ditto for really wet, loose mud. But, they'll pack up in the thick stuff & dig for China. Don't really care for SX's either as they don't have the same forward bite of standard TSL's. So, I'm gonna vote for regular bias TSL's. They self-clean at lower speeds than Boggers, and give more traction than SX's.

All this relating specifically to mud BTW.

TSL works well in the Attica Badlands.

I have ran both and like the Bias TSLs.With the Boggers I couldn't sidehill at all.I even had a set of each at the same time and tested them on the same trail on the same day.Blazin:D
