i just found a really good deal (200 bucks) on a brand new set of 33x9.50 tires, im gonna be putting these on my swb 87 monty and im picturin in my head that kind of old school land rover and fj look of the tall skinny tires and kinda think its gonna look pretty cool...btw my rig is mainly for getting me through the trails to my hunting stands and camping in the mountains so this monty isnt a true pirate off road machine...but still love my shorty

In the past I had 255/85R16 on my truck (33 x 9.5) very cool look, but have since upgraded to 33 x 12.5. Better performance.

true 33x12.50s are a bit better performance wize but money talks these days, and thanks for the support you show on your avatar thing...im active duty

I have gotten compliments on the "utilitarian look" of the skinny 34x9.5s I run. As you mentioned I also have had people say it looks like a classic rover or toyota with them on. I takes some getting used to especially if you have run wider tires in the past. But it is definetely something different.

What kind of tires are they???????

there actually 235/85/16s but they measure in at 32.9 inches and have a tread width of like 9.5 so there around what a typical 33 inch tire would be...they are a load range E tire so it will probably ride even more so like a brick than it does now...thanks for not flaming my wife to bad while im gone this will be one of the few and far between posts from sea but thanks to those helping her
