I will be heading out July 24 for a night run at the Hammers. We will be on the lake bed around 7:00pm and head out around 8:00pm.

I was thinking about it but I will be out of town that weekend, fawk! I should do a shakedown run sometime before the Brawl too, it would have been perfect.

The moon is full next weekand. The weather should be perfect for an all nighter.

Tight schedule this week but as long as no hiccups happen I don't see why I shouldn't have it together in time. It just needs a little more tube, electrical and exhaust...thats all lol.

Newbie here (sort of). I might be down for a trip. I was there about 2 months ago. Ran Chocolate Thunder, SledgeHammer and Jackhammer. Only made it up Sledge though. You guys willing to accept a newbie?

So if you say you ran Chocolate Thunder and Jack as well but you only made Sledge...does that mean you had to winch/get pulled on the other two or does that mean you turned around? Just curious :P

Lol. Everybody has had mechanical problems...sometimes nut not being tightened and sometimes an engine getting blown....Yep, I speak from experience :). I was just curious how you didn't make it on tons and 40s lol. That explains it though :P

You got it... Front locker. ROOKIE mistake. It was my actual shakedown, had one at TDS but was still putting the "moose" together. Well, now I have the front locker and I hope I am ready to go. 4X4Taco, I'll still spot you a beer if I end up seeing you.

I say locked rear but limited slip front :D

I worked my ass off to get it together but I didn't make it. I worked on it night before last until 3am and last night til 4am and got up for work at 7. I can't figure out why it won't start. I got some ideas but I am too tired to go out there and work on it again tonight so I guess I am out. I will be on the shake down run with jedrattle though :(

Ya I did. I am sure it is something stupid like the fact that since it was 2am when I tried to start it, I forgot to ground the block. There is a bunch of stuff left to do though including get exhaust tomorrow if I was going to do. I am just too tired and if I stay up all night again tonight finishing it I won't be worth a shit for a night run lol.

I had a great time. All good people. The rock gods where not being to nice. We had a blow out a rig on the way out, 3 broken axles, 1 broken hub, 1 blown ARB line, 1 dead battery, and most graceful roll I have ever seen.:D

Watched the sun go down and watched it come back up.

Okay, I blow up a birfield and get back to camp at 3:30am with all of you. You guys go and run resolution and I never hear you get back. I wake up at 8:00am and am the only guy on the lake. You guys are sick...I didn't feel like driving home at 8:00am, and I slept for 4 hours. What time did you get back and what damage happened???

No damage just a little roll. We got back about the same time the sun was coming up. Loaded up and took of.

We where moving along pretty good on the way up Resolution till the last ledge. The Ftoy had a nice little roll. After he pulled the plugs and cleared the oil it wouldn't start. We thought we where f*cked but after a few we found the fuel pump died at the same time. A little tap with a hammer and off we went.

Aside from a little oil the rig only had a few scrapes... nothing broken. Im going to pick up another fuel pump(just in case). Its all clean and ready to go again. I would like to see pics tho.
