With the standard setup file it is setup with
2a stepper
2 in step mode
200 in motor res
and 1.64 in gear ratio(stuff comes out small)
change to 2 (stuff is perfect)

Well If I try to cut a 5in circle it comes out as a 4 inch circle, but if I change the gear ratio to 2, it comes out perfect..... Is 2 the right value for the 2x2 machine?

No idea on the 2x2, but when I setup my TM3, I had to make that adjustment. And I did it by going from one end of the table to the other, measuring and seeing if it traveled what I measured. If not, I changed the setting until it matched. I'm assuming its the same thing on the 2x2?

Yeah i just figured the Included setup file would have been right, but oh well, now I have one under sized rim guard.....
Ill call it a proof of concept......

Gear ratio should be 1 and screw thread is 2 for both x and y. There is a setup file on the TM 2x2 CD under the folder Setup Files, whether you are using it for plasma or as a router. Copy that file to the C:/Torchmate Data/Torchmate 3/Setup directory and open it in the TM3 driver software by clicking on File and Open Setup and verify the gear ratio and screw thread are 1 and 2.

The installation is default for all of the machines, as the software is universal. The instructions have you open the 2x2 setup file off the CD with the correct ratio.
