QUESTION NO. 1
PROPOSAL TO ISSUE BONDS FOR CONSERVATION AND RESOURCE PROTECTION....

Shall the State of Nevada be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $200 million in order to preserve water quality; protect open space, lakes, rivers, wetlands, and parks, recreational areas and historic and cultural resources?

Ok so in short this = trail closure to ORV correct?

Question 1 (http://sos.state.nv.us/nvelection/2002_bq/bq1.htm)

Vote No on Yes... :flipoff2:

I don't think it actually does anything FOR off roading.

It is primarily for a few "pet" projects and expansion of the State Park system. This part I agree with. The rest is land grabbing for preserves which typically means limited access.

My question on this is, all the Gov Kenny Guinn talks about is budget cuts, and how are we gonna afford to keep running the state. And then they come out with the BS about loaning 200 million to misc groups and agencies. Where the fawk did that come from??

I think it's all a load of shit. In regular business if they want to expand, they have to find the money to do it. If the business slows down they must reduce. The government is the only damn thing I know of that actually increases rates or taxes to compensate for their short comings.
