lots of people have that lift, but keep it mind it requires a good bit of fabrication to install. also make sure to read up on the track bar issues and what you can do to fix that.

so i havent found out about the track bar yet, and i read some were that the kit is bolt on on the frame side but u have to weld brackets to the axle side, is that correct? besides the actual kit what parts do you need to complete the front i.e. steering brake lines ect.

track bar issue.

it's a decent kit, but it's not just as easy as slapping it on. you are going to have to consider this a startign place for the project and you'll still end up doing a good bit of your own fabrication.

you're going to need an axle, brake lines, master cylinder upgrade, drive shafts, coilovers, steering, new trans crossmember, etc.

search over on nissan4wheelers or roninwheelers and get some better information.

wow for 1,800 you would think the kit would be a little more complete... i will agree the pars they have are nice and i do now see the flaw in the track bar, i think a set of leafs is maybe a better way to go, maybe a set of marlins or something aloong that line.

Ive seen to many people have problems with the calmini SAS. One of the big problems is the mounts breaking on the axle where they are welded to cast. I went with a leaf spring SAS using Calmini parts, and have been really happy, and it flexes just as good as the Calmini coilover kit.

The other problem with the Calmini kit is it is only designed for 33" tires. once you go bigger there WILL be parts failing on the kit.

X2 on www.roninwheelers.com and www.nissan4wheelers.com Great info there.

seet thanks for the good advice, what are the most recomanded springs in front? I figured trail-gear 3" would be the best not too tall!

Personally, if I were to do a leaf sprung sas again, I would base it around a set of 52" toyota rear springs. Waggy/yota lift springs have the center pin too far back in the pack, and its hard to run larger tires with limited lift without doing some serious tubbing of the cab.

Those will flatten & negative arch on you pretty quick. If I did mine over again, I would have just 3-linked the front with coilovers - much more tunable.

What's the width on those rear springs? And what's the height gain over the waggy front springs?

Thanks,

Should be 63"

depending on year and trim, it varies (59" to 62")

the 01 and up 4x4s are 61"
