oh and the music is weird, but im getting used to it...i think!! :p

oh yeah and despite everyone screaming for me to put the 42s on, im still running with the 38s, for the time being as i am serisouly stressing about carnage with the bigger meats, but at the XRCC championships, i will be breaking my 5hit everywhere on the 42s, on cruiser axles :D

unless some magical 60s land at my feet, well i really need a 60 front, or a rollin nolen, 9inch hybrid 60 front!! so if they are going up for sale cheap let me know!! i can get a dana 70 equivalent, out here pretty cheaply (for the back) just the fronts dont exist

and again thanks to jason for the longfields
they are UNREAL, i flog the pi$$ out of them, and they are holding up!
and nolen, for buying me this star (ages and ages ago) it will get the pics of the double gearbox and hydro 60 up, as soon as i scan them in (LAZY)

Keep the Cruiser front axle and upgrade the rear, with the 42's you will go through rear axles more than you will fronts with the 42's in my opinion.

Have fun and keep us posted.....

Get those :rainbow: skinny boggers off before you ruin the resale value!

YEAH????
COOOOOL, i will put a beefy rear end in then!!

and yeah dont start on those :rainbow: boggers  hehehehehehe they are runing the resale

42s are AWWWN

and what do you think about running an LSD and some traction control up the front, for further axle preservation? (until mace hunts me down my 60) ;) :flipoff2:

cause that is what i was thinking (that blue beast STRANGE ROVER runs locked rear and traction control front and works almost as good as a locker, and only breaks rear axles on his dana 44) no front axles!!

Most of the gys peserve their Cruiser axles pretty well using an ARB and just engaging it when going forward.

Anything is better than no locker and a LSD is WORTHLESS in the rocks.

Traction control on a bj40???...you gotta tell us more about it!
How does it work?
What parts do you need to build it?

sorry nolen, and JBT, this is ALMOST as effective as a locker

it runs similar to ABS on modern vehicles!!

to be honest i have seen it in action and the GURU, is sam, strange rover off the rover section on here, or www.outerlimits4x4.com (aussie site)

he designed and built the system, basically a disc with a number of holes in it, spins around and a computer counts them, if one spins faster or slower, it applies the brakes on the faster spinning one to give drive to the slower spinning side, he was having some problems, in water or mud, BUT on dry rocks, the system, was VERY effective

yes nolen i h8 LSDs myself, and would prefer to have the BEEF underneath so i could just lock it, and drop the hammer!! BUT this idea of sams, seems to be VERY kind on axles, due to only applying a soft amount of force, and the tyres, aren't directly getting drive from the engine, and not as much shock loads and the like, associated with lockers!! (although a locker is more beneficial sometimes)

i wouldnt go "backward" its more of a sideways step really!! to run the 42s and keep cruiser axle for the time being!!

and i have to be ready for this:
