you say "had" the hd sye...no more? is it the normal hd sye kit? not sure what you mean about the 241.....i have an AA sye sitting here, but if this is good to go, would rather just throw it in.
jalapeno 10-25-2002, 09:32 AM The JB kit is still in it. it is the heavy duty output shaft conversion which uses a NP241 output shaft, it is something like 45% stronger than the 231 output shaft. Chevy and Dodge used the NP241 in 1/2 tons and some 3/4 ton applications. it is also 4-5 inches shorter than the stoke slip yoke. its a nice deal. the whole tc unit will bolt on to the back of your ax15. i will send it complete with the shifter and boot too. the shifter has been lengthened about 2" to accomodate a 2 inch body lift.

nevadayj 10-25-2002, 10:39 AM What trans were you using? Were you using a fuel cell or the stock tank with the pump in it? I would need the tank & pump to make an easier swap into my 87 YJ. Anything done to the motor, ie-K&N, header, throttle body, etc?

the cage is not re-usable from the main hoop back. not welded in, it was bolted to tub in 6 places

jalapeno 11-04-2002, 02:28 PM OK, the rock ram from Howe has a stroke of 8", 5/8" shaft. let me mention that i also have what is essentially a brand new steering box. howe goes through and rebuilds the entire thing and sets it up for their ram and pump. call them for details at 619-561-7764. spoke to a very knowledgable and helpful guy named Chris.

Custom fabrication done by Amy Bulloch's dad Jim Peterson. Amy and her husband won the supercrawl using the SAME suspension. the only difference between mine and theirs is the wheelbase. My wheelbase is still stock.
