On the truck listed below, I have Ram assist steering presently. I was told that it "Sucks Ass" I now agree. What all do i need to purchase and how hard is it to convert it to a 79 steering setup? and about how much $.
Is it worth it? I will be playing on rocks a good bit.

So you currently have a hydro ram associated with it???
Or is this the stock hydro assist steering???
Figure if you want to convert from a manual system to a functional hydro assist.
$50 for the box (or so)
$150 to Matt hodges at west texas off road to port it for hydro
$120 for steering Ujoints and shaft (probably a bit high)
$30 for hoses.
$60 for the ram
Just general hydro assist costs..
Oh yeah does your name correspond to the Mega Man from OZ that got his arm broken by Magnus Samulesson in an arm wresteling competition???

Nah, I picked up MegaMan from a Mini-Baja Off road competition, I had my helmet on and i was walking the course. Im shorter than bunch of the people, and I was in all blue, from helmet to jersey. The helmet made me look like I had a big head i guess, but anyways, everyone started calling me megaman everytime they saw me. So it stuck.
